837 rooms, lap pool, spa, valet parking, 3 restaurants, tennis court, room service, over a dozen shops, 8 conference rooms, business center, Web tv, lanai on most, free cribs, child care program (summer only), day spa. Two buildings, 17 and 38 stories tall. Across the street from Kuhio Beach Park. Rooms are clean, comfortable and reasonably sized but unremarkable overall. The rack rates are way overpriced, but they admit that few pay them. Their "fitness room" is a 24-Hour Fitness chain, which overlooks the ocean--pretty inspiring. Their best "city views" are above the 18th floor. Showers have hand-held shower heads--unusual for a Waikiki hotel. One of their restaurants, Oceanarium, has a giant aquarium (complete with divers at feeding time) next to the tables. Rooms (328-416 sq. ft.) are 289-$469, suites (656-1,574 sq. ft.) are $700-$2,200.
