205 rooms, pool, fitness room, Wi-Fi in lobby, bbq. A 16-story building from the '70s that was remodeled in 2004. Although each room is individually owned, they are decorated similarly in an antique Hawaiiana theme and are nicely appointed. Rooms facing the ocean have unusually good views given the distance thanks to the tranquil park between you and the water 1/3 mile away. Best views are from the 8th floor and above. Overall, this is probably the best property in the immediate area.

Studios have kitchenettes, but the "lodging" units don't have microwaves or cooktops. Studios (310-325 sq. ft.) are $265-$295, 1/1s (500-700 sq. ft.) are $385-$485. These rack rates are too high, but most get discounts.
