659 rooms, pool, restaurant, lanais (most rooms), poolside bar, a conference room, free local and long distance calls to U.S. and Canada, free room safes, free hi-speed Internet access in rooms, free Wi-Fi in lobby and computers for use. An 18-story tower (however, the elevator stops at the 17th floor) from 1973. Rooms could use updating but are well-kept. Views improve with heightbut not much. Rooms are clean and simple. Your best view is of the tile mosaic at the nearby Miramar’s pool. Tiny showersgood for rinsing your vegetables but not much else. A few rooms have tubs. It’s fairly centrally locatedthree blocks from the beach. Parking is $20. Rooms (264 sq. ft.) are $209, kitchenettes (280 sq. ft.) are $219$229worth the up-grade. Kitchenette combos (544 sq. ft.) are $379. These are a standard room and a kitchenette combined via a connecting door. Suites (345844 sq. ft.) are $249 $489 and aren’t worth the money or the walk up from the 17th floor. |
