601 rooms, pool, hi-speed Internet access in rooms, free Wi-Fi in lobby, 14 conference rooms, free 24-hour business center, restaurant, coffee makers with free coffee daily, 24-hour room service, valet parking only, free 24-hour fitness room, free laptop-sized room safes, laundry is valet only. A 37-story tower from 1980 remodeled in 2006 at a cost of $65 million. The resort and the rooms are clean and very modern with their trademark Serenity beds and 42-inch TVs that you can connect to your computer or mp3 player. Views either face the mountains or ocean. Those oceanviews can be pretty good as they don't have any tall buildings in front of them. All rooms have large bathrooms with showers, but some tubs are available. There is an executive lounge on the 37th floor with a commanding ocean view. Valet-only parking is $25. Their restaurant Mac 24-7 is open 24 hours/7 days a week (yeah, we know that's painfully obvious from the name, but people often ask). One block from Kuhio Beach Park. We dinged them on their outrageous rack rates last time, and the rates came down, but on our last visit they went waaaaay back up again so no solid gold value. Rooms (305 sq. ft.) are $279-$309, executive level rooms (305 sq. ft.) are $319-$399, suites (900-1,200 sq. ft.) are $479-$3,000.
