68 rooms, pool, lanais on some, free hi-speed Internet access in the rooms. This 10-story building was renovated in 2006. Rooms feel smaller than the listed size, and some have had the lanais removed to expand the interior layouts. The theme here is "horses" as the owner is a fan of polo, and this property used to be called the Hawaii Polo Inn. They have tried to bring the place up-market since our last review with mixed success. Though the rooms are nicer with modern touches such as flat screen tvs, the pool, entrance and lobby area still feel like an urban alley. Rooms (350 sq. ft.) are $195-$257. A block from the beach at the Hilton.
