This 15-story 1963 building has a clean, modern decor. Every room has either two queen beds or one king bed—unusual for Waikiki. You’d never want to use their pathetic and distant pool (they don’t even advertise it), so plan your water activities elsewhere. Their Partial Ocean View room designation seems a bit generous when you have to lean over your lanai to see a small chunk of water. Next to the International Marketplace. If your room faces that side, you may need to make use of the free earplugs they supply, or just sit on your lanai and enjoy the free music. Self-parking is $22 (no vehicles over 6 feet high). Two long blocks to the beach. Rooms (328 sq. ft.) are $245–$260, suites (479–511 sq. ft.) are $290–$360.
