196 units, pool, keiki pool, spa, 3 lighted tennis courts, putting green, volleyball, basketball, bbq, restaurant, elevator. This complex is a mixed bag. Let's start with the downside. The buildings look older than their early '80s construction, feel institutional, and don't seem as well-maintained as others in the area. They could use a good powerwash and paint job, and there appeared to be lots of little things broken around the resort. On the positive side, the rooms are large and the layouts are pleasing. They're on Kahana Beach, but they don't seem to have the seaweed problem like some of their unfortunate neighbors. The water is usually pretty clear, and the sandy beach is good for swimming when calm. Local calls are 75¢. Rates vary a lot with view and season. 1/1s (750-800 sq. ft.) are $150-$225, 2/2s (1,200-1,400 sq. ft.) are $265-$350, 3/2s and 3/3s (1,750-2,500 sq. ft.) are $375-$445.
