50 units, 2 pools, spa, bbqs, coin-op laundry room for studios (other units have washer/dryers), hi-speed Internet access, free room safes, tiny but free fitness room, maid service every other day. Room layouts are varied, but most are comfortable and the resort’s clean. Their proximity to the water, especially from the Anthurium Building and the north side of the Orchid Building (where turtles are often sighted), is wonderful, and that alone gave it a Solid Gold Value. The latter may be noisy, though, as it is fronted by the pool. Their Jacuzzi has an admirable view of the ocean. It’s mesmerizing to hear the waves on the rocks so close below. Honeymooners get champagne and flowers, there’s a free mai tai party once a week and free coffee by the pool every morning. In all, you get more than what you pay for. Studios, which feel small, but acceptable at 350 sq. ft. are $125–$157. Deluxe studios (450 sq. ft.) are $145–$175. 1/1s (650 sq. ft.) are $175–$197. 2/2s with wraparound lanais (1,000 sq. ft.) are $245–$290, 3/3s in Anthurium building top floor only (1,300 sq. ft.) are $330–$357. 3-night minimum.
