64 units, pool, elevator, washer/dryer in unit, hi-speed Internet access, bbqs. An old building (mid-’70s) that feels pretty institutional (concrete block walls, cheap linoleum), but it’s clean, across the street from Kama‘ole III Beach, and it’s cheap. Some decent sunset views, but the proximity to South Kihei Road is always on your mind since no air conditioning means the open doors will bring in the noise. Try to get a 3rd floor or higher unit, or get used to looking at your car. Units ending in 01–05 have oblique views of the ocean from the lanai only. 2/2s with 1,060 sq. ft. (including lanais) are $190–$225. Despite the square footage, the units don’t feel that large. 4-night minimum.
