When our first edition came out, this was a dump, then it was getting better for our next edition, then it was getting worse (again). Now it’s in the best shape we’ve ever seen it, thanks to new management. At press time, there were 3 studio units that were remodeled with new bathrooms and kitchens, and they looked great. The rest are slated for similar renovations, but no dates were available at press time. They’re just across a small street from Cove Park. Studios or 1/1s at (450–500 sq. ft.) are $110–$140. 2-night minimum. Longer stays get discounts. If you get a renovated room, it’s an easy Solid Gold Value.
