180 units, pool, shuffleboard, free hi-speed Internet access in unit, bbqs, washer/dryers in some units (the rest use coin-op), a/c in deluxe units. A collection of thirteen 2- and 3-story walk-ups across the street from Kama‘ole II Beach, but the views are mostly garden view. Avoid the buildings closest to the beach (1–3) due to traffic noise. (Since it’s across the street from the water, closer to beach also means closer to the road.) The buildings are cheap mid-’70s construction, but well-maintained with nice grounds. The rooms are clean and functional; many have been updated. You can’t beat the price and proximity to the beach. Good for the budget traveler. Nice folks here. The 625 sq. ft. 1/1s are $108–$168. Discounts available, so ask. 3-night minimum.
