264 units, pool, keiki pool, 2 spas, 3 lighted tennis courts with tennis pro, room service (from the Westin), hi-speed Internet access in rooms, daily maid service, coffee makers with free coffee daily, washer/dryers in units, elevator, free room safes, central air conditioning, bbqs, free fitness room. This is a very well-run property with particularly competent staff. Their beach is a winner. Rooms are spacious with mostly upscale furnishings. The oceanfront units (which are corner condos) have particularly dreamy views from 2nd or higher floors. There are four 11-story buildings: 1 & 3 are closest to the water, but some views may be partially blocked by palm fronds, and units in other buildings may face the ocean more directly. Ka‘anapali Ali‘i has a calm, spacious, very luxurious feel and is certainly a tightly run ship on a fantastic beach. Parking is free; local calls are 75¢. You have charging privileges at some of the nearby resorts, a free summer kids’ program, and grocery delivery service is available for a fee. A great place to stay, but it’s not cheap. The 1,388 sq. ft. 1/2s are $395–$675, the 1,893 sq. ft. 2/2s are $590–$975. 3-night minimum. They often have specials and packages.
