210 units, pool with keiki pool, 3 spas, free fitness room, restaurant, business center, a/c, health spa, coffee maker with free coffee daily, free room safes, free Wi-Fi. Finished in 2006, this resort has the most upscale condos on the east shore. The area is very congested and traffic into and out of the property may be an issue at times. Once you are within the grounds you won't notice that much, as most of the resort is oriented towards the pool and beach. The rooms are richly appointed and furnished. They include dark imported hardwood trim, granite countertops, over-sized Wolf ovens, etc. On the plus side, the bedrooms and baths are large. The baths have deep tubs or Jacuzzis and separate showers. On the negative side, the living area is relatively small. They didn't plan for a dining area, which is usually just a small table often shoved against a wall (an issue especially if you have more than 4 people staying in a room). We were told that the developers planned to have all the dining on the lanais, but with possible passing showers that is not always practical. The oceanfront units have the best layouts with roomy lanais and dreamy views. Second story and above are better, because first story oceanfront units have plantings in front of them that may block some of your view of the beach.

The pool is the star here. It is a saline, 2-acre, river-like pool that meanders through the entire courtyard of the property. One end it's sand-lined for the kids (since the beach is not very swimmable), and it has two waterslides. There are three spas, each with a sandy bottom, and one is suitable for kids. The pool is especially pretty at night. There are private hales for a massage by the pool.

Hotel-type rooms (325 sq.ft. with coffee maker, fridge and are closest to the road) are $255, 1/2s (824 sq.ft.) are $335-$550. 2/3s (1,155-1,414 sq. ft.) are $460-$760. The second set of phone numbers has 1 and 2 bedroom units for much less but these units don't include daily maid service or free coffee, have a 2-night minimum and charge a cleaning fee.
