"I have to write this email to you to tell you how absolutely greatful we are for your Ultimate Kauai Guidebook. It completely made our vacation!! I purchased the book in early August after we had booked an eight-day stay on the island and had read it cover to cover before departing for our trip. Throughout our time on the island, I kept the book with me, and not too long into the trip, referred to it as if it were our Bible. I don't even know where to begin...it was all so helpful. Restauraunt reviews were accurate and reliable... The beaches....being a maniacal beach-bum myself, I was most impressed and pleased with the information that we had regarding beaches... And the hiking!!!! Great views, as you know and great directions... I could go on and on and have so much to be thankful to you for. Your wisdom and knowledge is invaluable and made our vacation in Kauai most memorable, and as we have often referred to it, "the best vacation ever!!!"

39 units, swimming pool, bbq, free Wi-Fi by pool, free hi-speed Internet access in rooms, elevator in Building A, daily maid service. Most of the owners (not all) have been spending a lot of money on their units, and they were looking very nice on this visit. The grounds aren't much, but the property is well-maintained with pleasing exterior improvements done in 2008. What you're really paying for is the extra-ordinary proximity to, and sound of, the ocean, not the size of the rooms. This makes them a relatively decent value. The townhouse units in building C are the quietest. The one-bedroom condos are the only units without the master bedroom on the ocean side, but all units have great ocean views. 1/1 units (800-900 sq. ft.) are $285-$340, 2/2 units (912–1,322 sq. ft.) are $365-$460, 3/2s (1,225-1,280 sq. ft.) are $475-$580. They often discount. The staff here is very friendly. They charge $1 per local call (unusual for a condo). The 2,600 sq. ft. penthouse is $525-$665. It was originally built personally for the developer, is glass-walled and has one of the grandest views on the south shore. If you ask for and get a renovated unit, this property rates a Real Gem.
