123 rooms, coin-op laundry, empty fridge, pool and keiki pool, Wi-Fi, free room safes, deluxe and super rooms have coffee makers with free coffee daily and are on the third or fourth floor. If you’re just looking for a place to stay with no frills but a convenient downtown location, it may be worth considering. Rooms are very basic. They used to have a sister property, the Kona Inn, across the street, but it is closed now with no plans at press time to reopen. By the way, where is Kona Bay? (The hotel is across from Kailua Bay.) Parking is $5 per day. Rooms (400 sq. ft.) are $119–$144. Rates include a free continental breakfast.
