146 rooms, coin-op laundry, empty fridge, pool and keiki pool, Wi-Fi, free room safes, deluxe and super rooms have coffee makers with free coffee daily. If you're just looking for a place to stay with no frills but a convenient downtown location, it's worth considering. Rooms are fairly basic, but they were cleaner on this visit. (New carpets, drapes and bedspreads helped.) Avoid their sister property, the Kona Inn, across the street. By the way, where is Kona Bay? (The hotel is across from Kailua Bay.) Parking is $5 per day. Rooms (400 sq. ft.) are $119-$144; add $30 and you get a car.
